The application process for the student debt cancellation program is now available. Americans may now apply for up to $20,000 in forgiveness.
Click “Start the Application” at studentaid.gov.
It is expected to take up to six weeks to process. Most who apply before mid-November should expect to get their debt canceled before Jan. 1.
