Gabriel Kendall, 31, of Brunswick and George Markos, 33, of Bath have been arrested for their roles in trafficking illegal drugs including, fentanyl, crack cocaine and cocaine HCL.

For the past month, agents with the MDEA Mid-Coast District Task Force and officers from the Brunswick Police Department conducted an investigation into illegal drug trafficking from an apartment located at 13 Sweet Street in Brunswick. Information and complaints had been received from the public to MDEA and Brunswick PD.
On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at approximately 2:00 pm, agents and officers interrupted a drug sale taking place between Gabriel Kendall, who rented the Sweet Street apartment in Brunswick
and George Markos of Bath. Both Kendall and Markos were out on bail for previous charges unrelated to this incident. Court imposed bail searches were conducted on both men. 5.9 grams of fentanyl was seized from Markos.A search of Kendall and his apartment at 13 Sweet Street resulted in the seizure of 166 grams of fentanyl, 15 grams of crack cocaine, a small amount of cocaine powder and over $8,000 in
suspected drug proceeds. Street value of the seized drugs is approximately $25,000.Both men were arrested without incident and transported to the Cumberland County Jail by Brunswick Police. No bail was set due to their violating previous bail conditions.
