Augusta Police recently had to escort two people living in a makeshift campsite off the roof of Lillian P. Hussey Elementary School in Augusta.
The pair were discovered the last week in July when a school custodian found a ladder that didn’t belong to the school. She then found people living on the roof. They were not arrested.
School officials say they will not be increasing security.
