By a vote of 53-47, the US Senate has confirmed Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s appointment to the Supreme Court. She is the first Black woman to serve on the highest US court.
Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson will replace Justice Stephen Breyer, who will be retiring this summer.
