The Maine CDC has confirmed another case of Monkeypox in Maine. This time in a male in Penobscot County.
The first case was back on July 22 in York County.
The CDC is working to identify any others who may have been exposed
From the CDC:
Monkeypox symptoms can include:
- Muscle aches and backache
- Swollen lymph nodes
Monkeypox also includes a rash that can look like pimples or blisters that appears on the face, inside the mouth, and on other parts of the body, like the hands, feet, chest, genitals, or anus.
