Slugger, the Portland Sea Dogs mascot has again this year, been nominated for the Mascot Hall of Fame.
The Red Sox AA Affiliate mascot was alsos nominated in 2019 and 2021. Last year Slugger, though not nominatedr won for having the greatest community impact and for having the best in-game skit or routine in the minor leagues.
Voting begins May 14 on the Mascot Hall of Fame website and continues through May 27.
