38-year-old Martin Benjamin of Portland was arrested yesterday, June 6, as police seized enough fentanyl to kill an estimated 33,500 people.
Benjamin was stopped for allegedly participating in illegal drug activity. It was then they discovered 67 grams of fentanyl, as a small amount of methamphetamine and cocaine.
Officials say that amount of fentanyl is enough to kill an estimated 33,500 people.
