The Federal Trade Commission claims Amazon is monopolizing the marketplace and inflating prices. Maine is now joining 17 other attorney generals and the FTC in filing antitrust claims.
The FTC’s alleges that rthe online retailer unfairly promotes its own platform and services at the expense of third-party sellers. The lawsuit does not seek to break up Amazon’s business.
