The 10-year-old who brought a handgun to Monroe Elementary School on March 10, has been charged on four counts related to the incident.
The charges are aggravated reckless conduct, criminal terrorizing, criminal threatening, and making a threatening display of, or carrying a concealed weapon.
According to the Waldo County Sheriff’s Department, the firearm was a .22 caliber handgun. It was found unloaded with bullets in the same bag that the gun was discovered in.
