Limington Plane Crash

Yesterday, Nov. 16, a plane lifted off from the Limington Airport when it had an engine failure and the plane crashed less than a mile west of the airport.

From the Maine Stateb Police:

On Thursday, November 16, 2023 at approximately 12:30 pm, the Maine State Police responded to the area of the Limington-Harmon Airport in Limington for a report of an airplane crash. The crash site was located next to a clearing in the woods near the intersection of North Road and Sutton Hill Road. When the Trooper arrived on scene she could observe the bright yellow plane nose-down into the ground in the woods. The pilot who was walking around the scene identified himself as 62-year-old Bradley Marston of Windham. Mr. Marston stated he had just taken off from the Limington Airport when he had engine failure and the plane crashed less than a mile west of the airport. Medical personnel evaluated the pilot and he was eventually transported to the hospital for minor injuries. The Maine State Police and the Maine Forest Service secured the scene until the Federal Aviation Administration arrived to process the scene.
