A Federal Protective Service guard shot a suspect inside the Federal Building in Augusta this morning. Agents say the suspect allegedly assaulted the guard and was carrying a knife.
Augusta police are at the federal building on Sewell Street. According to WGME, the incident happened on the first floor.
