Former NFL cornerback Phillip Adams, who played for the New England Patriots in 2011, has been named as the suspect in a Rock Hill, South Carolina, shooting that left five dead.
Killed were doctor Robert Lesslie, his wife, two grandchildren and an employee.
Reports say Adams took his own life with a .45-caliber weapon early this morning, April 8.
Adams played over 6 seasons with the 49ers, Patriots, Seahawks, Raiders, NY Jets and Falcons.
