Yesterday afternoon, May 12, Jack A. Davis, 60, of Sheffield, VT was traveling northbound on Interstate 95 in Sidney when witnesses say he drove off the road to the right and struck a tree.

Davis, who was operating a 2020 black Dodge Ram and hauling a trailer, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is being investigated as a single vehicle crash. Davis was the only person in the vehicle.
