Fairfield Area Schools Closed Due to Potential Threat

Fairfield schools were closed today, Oct. 30, because of possible threats. According to the Fairfield Police Department, they were made “aware of some concerning social media posts that have been circulating through the Lawrence community.”

MSAD 49 schools including Fairfield Albion, Benton and Clinton were closed. Also fnot having classes were Kennebec Valley Community College and the Kennebec Montessori School.
