Last night, May 15, Fairfield Police and other agencies served what was deemed to be a high risk search warrant on Elm Street, in Fairfield.
From Fairfield Police:
During the service of the warrant, Maine State Police made use of a flash-bang distraction device, which resulted in several calls from concerned citizens to the Somerset County Communications Center. Evidence was collected during the search warrant and the investigation is ongoing.
