The Boston Bruins have have announced a trade of left wing Taylor Hall and the rights to unrestricted free agent Nick Foligno to the Chicago Blackhawks. The B’s in return, get the rights to restricted free-agent defensemen Ian Mitchell and Alec Regula.
No salary is retained by Boston, so the trade represents a pure salary dump to clear $6 million off Boston’s books.

I remember watching Hall shove this puck in and being able to stand up in a sold barn to yell “TAYLOR HALL IS A BOSTON BRUIN”. It was glorious, one of my fave players to watch in the past ten years. Thank you for everything Hallsy pic.twitter.com/ERyjjX3LO5
