Bill to Repeal Maine’s Plastic Bag Ban Introduced

A bill in Augusta to repeal Maine’s ban on single-use plastic bag ban has been introduced by Republican lawmakers.

A store could offer plastic, paper or reusable bags if the bill is enacted. The locations also can allow customers to use their own reusable bags.
