Governor Janet Mills yesterday, June 26, signed a bill into law that will partially decriminalize prostitution in Maine. According to the bill, that will go into effect on 90 days, pimping would still be against the law.
The measure also says sellers won’t be penalized but the buyers still would be.
The bill also toughens language on child sex trafficking.
