Bill to Address Maine’s School Bus Driver Shortage

There will be a public hearing tomorrow, March 23, to address Maine’s school bus driver shortage.

The hearing will be at 1pm with the Committee on Transportation at the Cross Building, State House Room 126, at the State House in Augusta.

Rep. Gary Drinkwater (R-Milford) says:

There is a long-standing, statewide school bus driver shortage in Maine that is getting worse. After hearing from diverse communities that include Fort Kent, St. Agatha, Frenchville, Madawaska, Oxford Hills, Westbrook, Spruce Mountain, Camden-Rockport, Lewiston, and many others, I am presenting a solution to the problem.
