40-year-old Jessica Durant was severely burned in Auburn Saturday morning, May 6, when she reportedly fell into a campfire.
According to WGME, Durant, who now has burns over half her body, is unhoused and was living in the woods near a dam at Moulton Park. She is currently listed as being in serious condition at Maine Medical Center.
Officials say the incident is being considered an accident.
