Sean Boyd, 46, of Athens, a former town fire chief has been sentenced for sexually assaulting a child, multiple times over a six-month period in 2014.
According to WABI, Boyd, who was also a former school board member, will spend 20 years in prison and have 20 years of supervised release following his term.
He will also be required to register as a sex offender.
