7 Arrested for Trafficking Fentanyl in Bucksport

Seven people have been arrested and charged with felony drug offenses as part of an eight-month joint investigation with the Bucksport Police Department.

Arrested were: From Bucksport, Edmund Osborne, 63, Joshua Moore, 38, and Sara Winters, 34. From Bangor: Tiffany Dow, 40, and Tobey Harrington, 30. Also, Daniel Needham, 47. of Brewer and Zachary Turcotte, 24, of Orland.

From the Maine State Police:

For the past several months, investigators assigned to MDEA’s Downeast Task Force in Ellsworth have been working alongside the Bucksport Police Department on an investigation involving the sale of fentanyl in the Town of Bucksport. This investigation, which included numerous undercover purchases of the drug, has resulted in the arrests of seven people this month. Six of the arrests occurred in the Town of Bucksport and one (Zachary Turcotte) occurred in Orland.

The arrests occurred over the past two weeks. All seven were transported to the Hancock County Jail for booking.
