2024 Academy Award Nominations Announced

This year’s Oscar nominees were announced this morning, Jan. 23. “Oppenheimer” led the way with 13 nominations, followed by “Poor Things,” earning 11.

“Killers of the Flower Moon” received 10 nominations. The biggest film of the year, “Barbie,” scored eight nominations.

High-profile snubs included Leonardo DiCaprio and “Barbie” director Greta Gerwig.

The 96th annual Academy Awards will be held Sunday, March 10, in Hollywood.
